Background colours are mixed by hand to match the clients chosen shade using environmentally friendly water based inks. These are then applied to 150Gsm Base paper and brushed out by hand.
The grounded paper is then laid on a padded base, the printing block is inked, placed in register on the paper and pressure applied, the block is then lifted from the paper, the paper moved on for the next print by hand and the process is repeated. As more paper is printed it is hung over a festoon to dry.
If more than one colour is used, the process is repeated with the next colour and each successive colour after that. Finally the paper is trimmed in the traditional manner and each roll is then hand roll wrapped.
