Handblock Printed Wallpaper Made In The Notswolds
We are delighted to share this new collaboration with Notswolds. Over the past few months, we have been working closely with Notswolds founders, decorative artist Laura Jekyll and filmmaker John Davison, to curate a collection of traditional wallpaper designs in a bespoke palette inspired by the landscape and architecture of the Notswold region.
Notswolds has been created to celebrate and champion exceptional making across one of Britain’s most exciting emerging regions: a combination of six counties at the very centre of England. Just an hour by train from London and perfectly placed between the capital, Birmingham and York, here in the Notswolds, elegant country houses, lively market towns and characterful villages shape a landscape where heritage and modern life sit comfortably side by side.
Here, soft tones, chalked blues, greens and earth pigments come together to celebrate this region, hand-produced by an endangered craft, and a process which has been largely unchanged since the 16th Century. Or as Laura and John see it, simply good work by good people.
